2026 - Edition 5, Term 3

Mission Action Day 3.0 is coming up on Friday 4 September! After two weather-related postponements, the College community will come together for a day of faith, service, fundraising and fun, supporting this year’s four House charities.

Year 11 students recently took time away from the busyness of school life for a Retreat Day centred on “Stepping In, Stepping Up.” The day encouraged students to reflect on who they are becoming, recognise their gifts and consider how their everyday choices can positively influence others.

The After School Study Program continues to support students across Years 7–12, providing a quiet and welcoming space to study, complete homework and access support from Academic Tutors. With 295 students attending so far this year, the program has recorded more than 2,500 attendances.

JPC netball teams have enjoyed strong results across SIS and All Schools competitions. The Junior Girls claimed the SIS Grand Final and qualified for the All Schools State Finals, while the Senior and Intermediate Boys also recorded multiple wins at the All Schools competitions.

Year 9 students participated in WheelTalk, gaining insight into disability, accessibility and inclusion. Through conversations and practical activities, including wheelchair basketball, students explored barriers people with disability may experience and reflected on how empathy and small actions can help create a more welcoming community.

JPC alumnus Jack Lonie (Class of 2014) is returning to College as guest speaker for this year’s Father’s Day Breakfast. Hear about his AFL career, his journey from JPC to St Kilda and the lessons that have shaped him along the way.

The Year 11 Formal is fast approaching! With an evening of celebration, music, dancing and memories ahead, now is the time to secure tickets. Tickets must be purchased by Friday 21 August. We look forward to celebrating with our Year 11 students.
