Students will be able to select from experiences that are core to STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Students use design thinking process of imagining possible solutions through research, design, making, testing, and improving viable solutions.

Year 9

In Year 9 students expand their horizons, adding elective subjects to the core curriculum. Electives are assigned based on individual preference, allowing students to explore their interests and begin to determine their future courses of study as they prepare for their Senior years.

Students select four semester-based elective units across Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, Religious Education, The Arts, Technology, Science, Humanities and Health and Physical Education. Subjects that run for the whole year count as two units. In Term 3 each year, the College offers both students and parents the opportunity to learn more information about subject pathways and electives.
