Welcoming Back JPC Alumnus Jack Lonie for Father’s Day Breakfast

10 August 2026

We are delighted to welcome back JPC alumnus Jack Lonie (Class of 2014) as our guest speaker for this year’s Father’s Day Breakfast.

Since graduating from John Paul College, Jack has gone on to enjoy a successful seven-year AFL career, including making his debut with St Kilda Football Club. His journey through elite sport has been shaped by dedication, resilience and perseverance, with plenty of valuable lessons learned both on and off the field.

At the Father’s Day Breakfast, Jack will share stories from his AFL career, reflect on his time at St Kilda and speak about the experiences and values that have shaped his journey from JPC student to professional athlete and beyond.

Guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with Jack. Families are invited to submit a question in advance, whether it’s about his AFL career, life as a professional athlete or the lessons he has learned along the way. Selected questions will be answered during the breakfast.

The Father’s Day Breakfast is a much-loved opportunity for students and their families to come together to celebrate the dads, grandfathers, carers and special people who support and encourage our students every day.

With a limited number of tickets still available, families are encouraged to book soon and join us for a morning of good food, great company and community spirit.

📅 Thursday 3 September
⏰ 7:00am - 8:30am

We look forward to welcoming Jack back to our College community and celebrating Father’s Day together.
