Our Year 10 students recently participated in two engaging wellbeing programs aimed at personal growth and building lifelong skills.
The Man Cave supported our male students to reflect on masculinity, understand the importance of expressing emotions, and develop healthy, respectful relationships. Through interactive workshops, group activities, and meaningful discussions, they explored what it means to be a confident, emotionally aware young man. One student reflected, “Thank you for the enjoyable experience called the Man Cave. Me and many other men learnt things about one another or things we didn't know about ourselves. I believe it changed me in a positive way and would do it all again.”
Big Sister Experience guided our female students in developing self-confidence, building supportive friendships, and learning about self-image, female health, consent, and relationships. The program offered practical strategies and interactive activities to help students navigate social situations and make empowered choices. One participant shared, “At first I thought that no one was going to open up and that the whole program was going to be a waste of time, but it was actually really inspiring. I was quite shocked to see that pretty much every girl in my group felt the same as I did.”
Together, these programs equipped students with the tools to express themselves, foster inclusivity, and create positive change - supporting their wellbeing now and into the future.
