At John Paul College we are dedicated to building an educational environment that allows staff and students to participate in learning and technical education in the immediate years ahead.
All students have been working with a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program for a number of years, which sees every student bring an electronic device to school to support their learning.
In modern times, we have always been a pioneer school on the Mornington Peninsula in terms of ICT. Recently we have improved our Wireless Network (over 100 Access Points), to include more external and sophisticated learning spaces. This permits students to work and learn in an environment that facilitates their progression into the next decade and beyond.
Staff and students have access to SIMON, our Learning Management system, which provides a shared and collaborative learning atmosphere. Parents and Guardians have access to the Parent Access Module (PAM) another feature that works in tandem with communications and your child’s academic learning. PAM can also be accessed via an App on your mobile device. (iTunes download or Android Download)

John Paul College does not receive any commercial reward or benefit for purchases made by parents. There is no obligation to buy through JB Hi-Fi and parents may use a vendor of their choice, provided the device meets the minimum specifications as listed above. These minimum specifications have been set by the College so all students are able to focus on their learning whilst at John Paul College.
eSmart and Cybersafety
John Paul College is an eSmart accredited school. eSmart is a guiding framework for schools to manage cybersafety and wellbeing. eSmart helps teachers, students and the whole school community embrace the benefits of technology and reduce their exposure to cyberspace risks such as cyberbullying, identity theft, online sexual predation and accessing or sending inappropriate images and content. eSmart is an initiative of The Alannah & Madeline Foundation, a national charity committed to protecting children from violence. Our work towards achieving eSmart status over the past few years has involved the whole school community—for example, integrating cybersafety into our wellbeing policies, establishing clear procedures to deal with incidents, and delivering curriculum around the smart, safe and responsible use of technology.
John Paul College is proud to be an eSmart school and we will continue to develop policies, procedures and strategies to educate our community about cybersafety and wellbeing. More information is available at www.esmart.org.au
