There is something powerful about quiet connection. In the midst of a busy school day, the presence of a calm, trained therapy animal helps create a different kind of space - one where students can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect at their own pace.
This term, the College introduced Paw Pals, an eight-week animal-assisted wellbeing program designed to support student wellbeing and gently build confidence and connection.
Delivered in partnership with specialist facilitators and trained therapy dogs, the program provides structured, supportive sessions that help students regulate, refocus and re-engage with school life in a calm and encouraging environment.
Paw Pals forms part of the College’s broader commitment to student wellbeing, recognising that feeling safe, supported and ready to learn is the foundation for confidence and engagement at school.
The College looks forward to seeing the positive impact of these quiet, wellbeing-focused sessions throughout the program.
