Get Ready for Mission Action Day 2026

30 March 2026

Mission Action Day, held annually at John Paul College, is a student-led event that clearly links our Catholic faith and mission by raising awareness of social justice issues and supporting our 2026 House charities.

The day features a mix of activities and fundraising stalls, with games, competitions, and opportunities for everyone to get involved. It’s a highlight on the JPC calendar!

Each House is fundraising for a chosen cause:

  • Olsen House – Christmas on the Streets provides meals, care packs, and practical support for people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne and Sydney.
  • Chaminade House – Stella Maris Seafarers Centre offers transport, communication, counselling, and friendship to seafarers far from home.
  • D’Houet House – MacKillop Family Services supports vulnerable children, young people, and families through foster care, residential care, education, and family programs.
  • Turner House – Jesuit Social Services works locally to reduce disadvantage and build stronger communities through mental health, education, housing, and justice programs.

Students, staff, and families are encouraged to support these causes by sponsoring a care package which will be put together by students following our morning celebration of the Eucharist: https://www.trybooking.com/DKXNR

Mission Action Day is a wonderful way for the JPC community to come together, have fun, and make a meaningful difference.
