Our Year 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies (OES) students recently spent two nights at Phillip Island, camping at Anchorage Caravan Park and engaging in immersive, hands-on fieldwork linked to their Unit 3 studies.
The program included surfing and visits to the Koala Conservation Centre, Penguin Parade, Nobbies, Cape Woolamai, Churchill Island, and Swan Lake. Students explored real-world applications of conservation, recreation, environmental management, and the RAMSAR Convention, deepening their understanding of key environmental concepts while experiencing the island’s unique natural landscapes.
