Congratulations to all students who participated in the After School Study Program during Term 1, 2026. The College is pleased to welcome back returning students and Tutors, and looks forward to continuing this strong start. Best wishes to all for Term 2, as the program continues to support positive learning and academic growth.
2025 – a recap (prepared by Jess Vadjic)
The After School Study Program for 2025 was an enormous success having accommodated a total of 4373 students over 133 afternoon sessions.
The After School Study Program allowed students from Years 7 to 12 to receive academic support alongside guidance in effective study habits and organisational skills. Tutors assisted students to strengthen both their academic knowledge and improve their learning strategies.
Across the year, attendance patterns remained steady, although some school terms proved particularly busy as assessment periods approached. This was further supported through our busiest term being Term 3 in which the After School Study Program accommodated over 1200 students, particularly Year 12 students prepping for their upcoming final SAC’s and fast approaching VCE Exams.
We are all immensely proud of how the After School Study Program continues to foster student confidence, achievement and learning skills at John Paul College.
