Year 7 student Zak B achieved something truly special when he appeared on Episode 4, Season 2 of Hard Quiz Kids - and won in a dramatic tie-break finish.
Facing Tom Gleeson and a group of sharp contestants, Zak stepped outside his comfort zone, stayed composed under pressure, and impressed audiences with his deep knowledge of Australian politics.
Reflecting on the experience, Zak shared that the opportunity pushed him to think quickly, stay calm, and perform confidently in a national TV environment. He found it more nerve-racking backstage than on set, but once the lights came up, the adrenaline helped him focus and enjoy the challenge. The experience taught him to trust himself, handle pressure, and embrace moments that may feel daunting but lead to unforgettable achievements. He was proud to represent John Paul College while speaking about a topic he genuinely cares about.
