The Junior DAV Debating Program concluded on a high note, with Team JPC securing a strong win against Woodleigh in the third and final round. Throughout the series, the team demonstrated impressive communication, teamwork, and skilful argumentation.
The College congratulates Kyla H (Year 7) on being named Best Speaker for the round, a recognition of her outstanding debating ability. The team of Emily S (Year 8), Maxx M (Year 7), Hugo M (Year 7) and Kyla H (Year 7) finished the program undefeated, winning all three debates.
It was encouraging to see the students’ growing confidence, poise and rebuttal skills across the competition. The Junior DAV Debating Program continues to offer valuable opportunities for students to strengthen critical thinking, public speaking and collaboration through friendly competition.
