Donate your recycling funds to support the Community Companion Van

The College is excited to share that the John Paul College Community Companion Van is now a registered partner with CDS Vic (Container Deposit Scheme Victoria). This means you can help us raise funds simply by recycling your eligible drink containers and donating the funds directly to the Companion Van. 

For over a decade, our Companion Van has been delivering care and connection to those in our local community who need it most. From offering a friendly face and a listening ear to providing comfort and practical assistance, the initiative is a symbol of compassion in action.

How you can help:

• Collect eligible containers.
• Look for drink bottles, cans and cartons with the 10c refund mark.
• Return them to a CDS Vic refund point.
• Use our partner code so the funds go directly to the Companion Van.
• Spread the word.
• Encourage friends, neighbours and local businesses to get involved.

Every 10c refund helps us keep the van running and continue serving the community with kindness.
