With more than 250 guests in attendance, the College’s Mother’s Day Breakfast was a heart-warming occasion to honour the mothers, grandmothers and female mentors who play such an important role in our community.
Guests were privileged to hear from Ella McConnell, Head of Learning Diversity and The Stewart Centre, who delivered a powerful and moving address. Ella reflected on how her experiences as a mother have shaped her commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and child safety. She spoke passionately about her work in increasing female participation in community sport and the efforts to break down barriers for women in this space. She also acknowledged the mentors who have guided her journey and shared the importance of carving out time for self-care.
The morning was filled with meaningful moments, warm conversations and a delicious breakfast. The College extends its sincere thanks to everyone who joined us and helped create such a joyful and memorable celebration.
