As part of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools’ ongoing Child Safe Standards newsletter series, families are invited to learn more about Child Safe Standard 4 and the important role families and communities play in promoting child safety and wellbeing.
Child Safe Standard 4 focuses on ensuring families and communities are informed, involved and engaged in supporting child safety. The standard recognises that strong partnerships between schools, families and the wider community help create environments where children and young people feel safe, valued and supported.
At the College, this commitment is reflected through open communication, regular wellbeing and child safety updates, and opportunities for parents and carers to provide feedback and contribute to conversations that support student wellbeing.
