The Subject Preferences and Careers Expo provides students and their families with an invaluable opportunity to explore the wide range of subjects on offer at John Paul College, while gaining up-to-date advice regarding pathways, tertiary study options, and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses.
Across the evening, families will hear from key staff presenting on topics including VCE and VET pathways, middle school subject selection, mathematics options, and career planning. These sessions are designed to provide clarity and guidance as students consider their future learning directions.
Teachers from each Learning Area will also be available to share detailed information about subject and elective offerings, supporting students to make informed and confident choices. In addition, representatives from a range of tertiary institutions will be present to provide advice and answer questions about post-secondary pathways.
The Expo is open to students across all year levels, with a particular focus on those in Years 7 to 12 who are preparing to make important decisions about their learning journey.
This important event is an opportunity for students and families to explore possibilities, ask questions, and gain confidence in planning future pathways.
