House Music lit up the College with an afternoon full of music, creativity, and House pride. The day began at lunchtime with 2000s karaoke, a sausage sizzle, and fun art activities including rock painting, chalk drawing.
The main event in the Kealy Centre saw Houses compete for the 2025 House Music crown. With the theme “2007,” reflecting the birth year of most Year 12 students, performances featured hits like Don’t Hold Back, Shut Up and Drive, Don’t Stop the Music, Give It to Me, Walk It Out, Hey There Delilah, Girlfriend, Funky Town, Gotta Go My Own Way, Thnks fr th Mmrs and more.
Each House delivered unique, high-energy performances, putting the judges to the test. Olsen House emerged as the 2025 House Music Champion, with Turner House in second, Chaminade House in third, and D’Houet House in fourth.
The event showcased the talent, teamwork, and school spirit that make House Music a much-loved tradition at John Paul College.
