Community comes together for Father’s Day Breakfast

12 September 2025

The College proudly hosted its annual Father’s Day Breakfast, a cherished tradition bringing together students, dads, carers, and special father figures from across our community. The morning offered a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important role fathers and carers play in the lives of our students while fostering stronger connections within the College community.

The Father’s Day Breakfast was a time to embrace the moments you get with your dad and spend some time eating, drinking, and laughing with each other.

We were delighted to welcome back proud JPC alumnus and former College Captain, Trent Kniese, as our guest speaker. Trent, now a Sports Reporter for Channel Nine News Melbourne, shared his journey since leaving JPC and reflected on the importance of family, mentors, and seizing opportunities. The College thanks Trent for giving back to his community and helping make this year’s Father’s Day Breakfast such a memorable event.

One of my highlights was the photos displayed on the screens, because they showcased fun memories between the students and their fathers.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff most sincerely for hosting the Father's Day Breakfast this morning. It was most enjoyable indeed. As a grandfather, I am happy to have enjoyed the breakfast with my grandchildren.
