John Paul College recently welcomed back three remarkable alumni to share their journeys and insights with our senior students.
Monét Rogers (Class of 2021) has embraced a range of experiences since graduating, including studying overseas, serving in the Army, and recently completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Distinction at Deakin University. Monét spoke about her studies, her time in the Army, and the opportunities that come from stepping outside your comfort zone, inspiring students to embrace challenges and growth.
Asher Johnston (Class of 2024, College DUX), is now pursuing a degree in engineering while volunteering his time to give back to the community. Asher shared his experiences of university life, encouraging students to stay focused, work hard, and make the most of the opportunities before them.
Lachie Gill (Class of 2015), 2022 winner of The Voice Australia, reflected on his career journey, including the key decisions, detours, and challenges that shaped his path. His insights offered students valuable perspectives on pursuing their passions and navigating future pathways.
Hearing these real experiences of challenge, risk and opportunity provided valuable perspective for our current students. Welcoming alumni back to the College offers powerful examples of resilience and the many pathways a JPC education can lead to. It is always a privilege to see past students inspiring the next generation.
