Enrolments

Thank you for your interest in enrolling at John Paul College, a Catholic co-educational school -  a place to learn, grow and thrive.

During this period of lockdown, families can submit their Enrolment Application either via the post or email.  Applications can be sent to the College mailing address: 161 McMahons Road Frankston 3199. Please address the application to College Registrar Lisa Meddings.

We welcome enrolment applications from families of children who reside in our five Parish Regions of Chelsea, Frankston, Frankston East, Langwarrin and Seaford. Enrolment applications are accepted from both Catholic and non-Catholic children and places offered according to the priorities in the John Paul College Enrolment Policy.

Enrolment Policy

Priority Enrolment

There is an agreed order of priority for enrolment in Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). The first priority of Catholic schools is the provision of a Catholic education for Catholic children.

The order of priority is:

1.    Catholic children who are residents of a designated priority parish and have attended a Catholic primary school in one of those parishes

2.    Siblings of children already enrolled in the school

3.    Catholic children who are residents of a designated priority parish and have not attended a Catholic primary school

4.    Catholic children from other parishes (for pastoral reasons)

5.    Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish

6.    Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish

7.    Other Christian children who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish

8.    Other Christian children who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish

9.    Non-Christian children who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish

10.  Non-Christian children who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish.

 

Year 7 2024

The Catholic Education enrolment date for Year 7 2024 is 19 August 2022. Please see below for the Enrolment Application process.

Year 7 2023

The Catholic Education enrolment date for Year 7 2023 was 20 August 2021. The College welcomes applications after this date for places that are available.

Year 7 2022

The Catholic Education enrolment date for Year 7 2022 was Friday 9th October 2020 and all places available for Year 7 2022 have now been filled.

Years 8 to 12

The College has limited vacancies in Years 8 to 12 and enrolments are accepted throughout the year. Please contact Lisa Meddings, College Registrar, for more information.


Applications for Enrolment process

Lisa Meddings, College Registrar details in the below video the important steps required for families to correctly submit a John Paul College Enrolment application. 

 

  • See below to download and print our John Paul College Enrolment Application Form. One application per student is required.
  • Complete all pages of the enrolment form – it should take you approximately 20 minutes.
  • Ensure you have completed all stages of the checklist found on page 5 of the enrolment form. 
  • Payment of $100 non-refundable application fee to be made via our online payments, see link below.
  • Submit enrolment form with all supporting documentation to Lisa Meddings, College Registrar.

Any application received without supporting documentation and payment of the application fee will not be processed.

After the application has been received and reviewed you will be invited for an Enrolment Interview prior to placement offers being made to successful applicants.

If your child receives a placement offer, a $250.00 non-refundable payment is required to confirm acceptance. The acceptance fee will be deducted from school fees once your child commences at John Paul College.
