A new Middle School initiative, Lunchtime Games, is helping to foster connection, wellbeing and fun for students in Years 7–9. Held once a week during lunchtime, the program invites students to come together in a relaxed and inclusive setting.
Students are enjoying a variety of activities including four square, spike ball, quoits and cornhole, alongside favourites such as giant Jenga, giant Connect Four and giant Guess Who. With music creating a lively backdrop, the atmosphere is both welcoming and energetic.
The initiative provides a structured yet informal space for students to build friendships across year levels, engage in friendly competition and take a positive break during the school day. Early participation has been strong, with students embracing the opportunity to connect and unwind.
Lunchtime Games is already proving to be a valued addition to Middle School life, supporting student wellbeing through shared play and connection.
