House Music Brings the House Down

01 September 2026

One of JPC’s favourite traditions returned in 2026, with students taking to the stage for a spectacular celebration of music, movement, creativity and House pride.

This year’s ‘Pop Icons’ theme saw each House draw inspiration from an iconic artist – Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Pitbull and Bruno Mars. Students brought the music and signature style of their chosen artist to life through high-energy performances that had the College audience cheering from start to finish.

Behind every performance was weeks of creativity, choreography and rehearsal. Students worked collaboratively to develop their routines, building confidence, strengthening friendships and embracing the opportunity to perform in front of the College community. Each House brought its own unique energy and interpretation to the stage, showcasing the incredible talent and enthusiasm of JPC students.

In the spirit of Ngargee, a Bunurong gathering for celebration, House Music was about more than the competition. It was an opportunity for students and staff to come together, celebrate self-expression and strengthen the sense of connection and belonging that makes the event such a special part of College life.

A huge congratulations to Olsen House on taking out the House Music 2026 title! Their creativity, energy and commitment shone through in a memorable performance.

With the music loud, the performances bigger than ever and House pride on full display, House Music 2026 was a celebration to remember.
