JPC Alumni Return as Tutors to Support Today’s Students

06 August 2025

At John Paul College, the connection between past and present students continues to grow stronger — and our After School Study Program is a shining example of that.

Each week, a group of dedicated JPC alumni return to the College, not as students, but as tutors. These former graduates generously volunteer their time to support current students in Years 7–12, offering practical advice, subject-specific help and genuine encouragement.

Whether assisting with tricky Maths problems, reviewing English assignments or simply helping students navigate their learning, our alumni tutors bring empathy, insight and a strong sense of community to the program — all shaped by their own experiences at JPC.

“It’s great to be back in a place that had such a positive impact on me,” says one of our tutors. “Helping students who are now walking the same path I once did feels really meaningful.”

The program not only benefits our current students, but also provides alumni with the opportunity to stay connected, share their knowledge and develop new skills.

We’re incredibly proud of these alumni, who are continuing the JPC legacy of service and support — showing that the bond with the College doesn’t end at graduation.
