Think, Pair, Share

Return to Curriculum

Students are arranged into groups of 4-6. Students work firstly on their own to think of 6 facts related to a topic or point of discussion. They then work with one other student, in a pair, to develop a list of (what they feel) are the 4 most important facts from their original facts they have. They then work in one large group to share ideas and develop a list of 3 facts for their whole group. These groups then delegate a speaker to report their main facts to the rest of the class.

Example: "What do you know about rainbows? List 6 things you know."
