Assessing Discussion "Fish Bowl" activity: Breaking into discussion groups of 5 students sitting in a circle. Each student in the circle has a partner sitting behind them. The student behind observes how their partner is involved in the discussion. After 5 minutes they swap over. The object of the students involved in the discussion is to respond in ways to keep the discussion going. The observer behind will assess how well they keep the discussion going. |
