Aim: This contains a treasure map useful for class activities and a sound file.

Method: Use them any way you see fit. Click on the "sound file" and you can press "Stop" and save the file to a floppy disk or somewhere else. The quality will depend on your sound card in your computer. You can use the treasure map to prepare a trail around the island to find the hidden treasure. Give them clues as to which direction to take. You can use a protractor for older classes and the have to "pace out" centimetres to their next location ... but beware of dangers. They can make a board game out of it. Print out this map and then enlarge it on a photocopier to 141% to put it on an A3 sheet of paper. They can work in pairs.
